In an effort to make travel easy and safe to the west coast we are going to be posting the road conditions that we encounter. We have found that the road conditions to Cape Scott Provincial Park & San Josef Bay (and all of the beaches beyond Holberg) are constantly changing, and at times can be quite treacherous without a properly equipped vehicle and some local knowledge.
During the winter we will update this at least once a month, and during the spring & summer we will be updating it weekly. Feel free to contact us anytime with questions on road conditions and travel to the west coast.
Last week the road to Holberg had some really nice & freshly graded sections and also had some sections with lots of potholes.
Does anyone know what happened to the "Be Prepared for the Unexpected" sign??? We love that iconic piece of logger humour & are sad to see it gone...
